Why in the world can't I pit?  When I try to follow the proper procedures,
I pull in & nothing happens????   Totally frustrated!!  Do you have to
stop at a particular spot in your pit on pit lane???  Does the sign board
come down??  I pause the game and feel like I'm "communicating" with the
pit crew, but when I un-pause, & then go into the pits, nothing?!?!?!   If
you can offer a step by step sequence, I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!

Thanks,

I was stuck in the same spot as you for a long time until some kind
soul from around here helped me out so I'll do the same for you.  Find
the key for the brakes and tap it when you get to your pit spot.  I
personally would always use the reverse to slow down and never used
the brakes.  Works for me and I hope it will for you too!

A friend of mine has the same problem.  He can't pit no matter what he
does.  It may actually be your game.  Contact Papyrus and get a new copy.

I've only seen this once before.  Make sure you are on the brakes when you are
stopped.  The pit clock in the upper right corner should then start.  Stop with
the pit board in the upper half of the winshield.

The only thing you need to do is hit the brakes when you pit.

all you need to do is use your brake to stop your car, and then the pit
stop will begin. if you're throwing the car into reverse gear to slow or
stop it, I would, uh...advise against that.
