Last night I was running Atlanta and a caution came out. When we came
around to the pits everyone dove down pit road including myself except
all the cars in front of me did not stop, they just continued down pit
road and went onto the track. The next time around they acted like they
were going into the pits but they didn't. On this lap we were given the
one lap to green signal. As we came around to take the green all the
leaders pitted!! I was running 23rd and I took the lea, but I really
don't like getting the lead under these circumstances.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so is there a fix?

It sounds like you have the original version of NASCAR2.  You need to go
to http://www.sierra.com and search for their patches.  Upgrade your N2
and this problem should go away.  They also added a save game feature
and fixed a few other little bugs.
