N3 Where is event1.tga located?

N3 Where is event1.tga located?

It's not in the track folder.  Is it in each individual .dat file?
Layout.dat?  Do the old pack and unpack utilities still work on the
.dat files in N3?

I do not believe event1.tga is used in N3 for any purpose

Yes all unpacking and packing utils from N2 work in N3

Why are they listed in the .cal files?  In the old NASCAR games they
were .pcx files.

N3 Where is event1.tga located?

The event*.tga logos are no longer used by the game (they are however
still referenced in the calendar because it expects to see something
in that position).  The biglogo*.tga are used on the championship
season screens, while the trkinfo.tga and trkshot.tga are used on the
single race screen.
