Being a "GPx" product means that it won't be too long before car sets,
driver sets, tracks sets, advertising sets, landscaping sets and, for all I
know, underwear sets will start flooding the internet.

Hey! a chance to drive in Michael Scumacher's 2000 season underwear!
Seriously, though, the developers should still do their utmost to get things
spot -on before release. And GP3's suspected lack of multiplayer, and ***
replays may not be fixed by a third party mod. As I've said, I shall wait
and see.
Didn't he get into trouble for claiming that the Beatles were more real
than GPL?

What I find useful with replays is the fact that you can use them to analyse
your driving, and, if you make a mistake, or crash, you can find out what
you did wrong, and avoid doing it in future. I wasn't suggesting watching a
whole race, but for example, analysing various lines through a corner can
be done better with a replay than with any telemetry. The fact remains, as
you say, many *do* want a replay facility that can allow many cameras, and
plenty of runtime. It's not as if we're 'pushing the envelope' here, it can,
and has been done. There is no excuse for not having the facility to record
a race if you want to.
All that I am saying (for what seems to be the ump***th time!) is that, to
_ME_, a replay utility has the same level of importance as on-line
play...........zero. It therefore has no bearing on whether I view a game as
being worthy of consideration or not.
I stress, once again, that's as far as _I_ am concerned. Me. Nobody
else....just me. I alone. :-)
