You're right. The same handful of guys will go on and on and on and on about
GPL no matter what.

The difference is that GPL intends to be a historical racing sim. GP3 is
trying to be contemporary, but will fail in that respect because OTB it'll
use 1998 data. Kinda like playing European Air war in  Gloster Gladiators

When GP2 came out it used '94 data.
Didn't stop it being the best sim around =)
Geoff Crammond has promised a season patch every year so there is still
hope!!!

I saw the GD many years ago. Mr Garcia comes onstage and proceeds to tale 20
minutes to tune his guitar before they kick into gear. There was a big grey
area where it was impossible to determine where the tuning up ended and the
music actually started <G>
