MOMO in GPL

Hello,

I've 4.20 beta , XP PRO  AMD 1900+.

Core.ini settings are:
force_feedback_damping = 102.0
force_feedback_latency = 0.04
max_steering_torque = 225.0

I use FF at 100% and other value to 0. If I run
Wingman profiler in background nothing change

So , I've spikes problem. If I reduce latency to 0.01 spikes decrease , but
I'd like hold latency to 0.04 for better feeling in driving.

Are there improvement from 4.20 beta and official
one ?

Other tips ? Thanks

Most people favor much less (or no) damping.  My current setting is 2-ish.
There's a ton of gen on Alison's page.

Thanks , I know that page .  I'll try reduce damping but is little hard find
good value
for good drive feeling.

Like Steve, I think your damping is set too high. I also think the
max_steering_torque setting is too low. The MOMO appears to have a bigger
"gain" compared to earlier models and therefore I think a setting of at
least 255-275 is more suitable.

I don't fully understand the question, but make sure you don't set the
maximum strength of the Momo higher than 100% in the windows joystick
applet. GPL acts funny with a higher setting.

No , ff is set to 100%  ; i've tried under 100% , never above.

Original problem is that is like torque value change automatically while
playing GPL.
So , at certain point , I feel  wheel smoothest . Another time I start game
wheel is more strong ,
another time is smoothest ... naturally I don't change value in core.ini :-)
