I just installed NR4 and it won't load.  I've seen several messages
here about that problem but none have helped me.  I have Windows 2000
Pro and wonder if that's the problem.  I've tried 3 different CD rom
drives, no luck, when I click on the exe file the CD spins up and then
nothing.
Anyone have any suggestions?  This is really pissing me off...

Not real sure, but I think I remember having this same type thing happen to
me with a different game.  It had something to do with the CD copy
protection that was used on the CD, and the drive I was using.  I tried a
different CD drive, and all was well.

Have you installed the 1.3.0.6 patch?  If so, and still having a problem,
you may the the fix.  You can find both on Papy's site http://www.papy.com
in the download section.

At least I can tell you that N4 runs perfect for me with Windows 2000 Pro,
considerably better than it did with Windows 98 SE.

Sounds like the wonderful copy protection at work. The latest patch and
corresponding fix from www.papy.com solved this problem for me!
