GPL Hardware requirements

I gather from some of the posts that some people have been playing with a
near-release version of GP for a while now.  Does anyone have a feel for a
good hardware level for the game to run acceptably?

I have been playing the Watkins Glen demo for quite a while, and it seems to
run nicely on a P200 with the Diamond Voodoo I card.  I hear however that
Papyrus are suggesting a much higher configuration for the full game - which
I can well imagine is necessary if they're rendering the trees at the 'Ring
and also running AI for twenty other cars :-)

BTW - What sorts of times are the fast guys getting?  I've slowly moved up
to 1_10_19 at Watkins Glen in the Eagle (slightly slower in the other 2
cars), and I can see the potential for more - it's just that my ability's
currently not up it :-)  I use a CH Virtual Pilot, which is twitchy but has
good centering, and CH pedals.  The trick seems to be balancing the power
slides properly - it's a lot easier to smoothly slide my Alfa Guilia on the
road!

Any info on hardwar requirements much appreciated!
