Before I go looking for this title, would someone post the required
hardware?

Thanks!

Saw a post that it was a bit easier on your system than the demo. It
seems the poster was running a 200 or 233 with a good 3d card. Try the
demo with the editor before you buy.

Another post says it's choppy on a PII 350 and 8 meg monster II.
Looks like only time will tell.

I have a PII 450, V2 SLI, 128 meg, and I have to run in 800X600, turn
graphics to high as opposed to max, turn off mirror, turn off wet car
look,,,before I get anything close to what appears to be that I am
driving a race car. This sim has potential,,but needs work.

GPL has spoiled me,, nothing comes close.

GPL is a frame rate hog! My frame rate in SCGT is sooo much better than in GPL
- If I have more than like 5 cars in GPL, my frame rate starts to dog, whereas
in SCGT, I can easily have 16 running smoothly with detail settings turned only
slightly down.

I tried playing with a Pentium 100Mhz with a voodoo 3d card and 40 Meg
RAM and it just works with low details, resolution and opponents numbers
!
And I enjoy it !

I use a P200 (not an MMX) with the original Diamond Monster3D and 64
MB RAM. Everything set to medium and sound to 11KHz and it plays
alright.
