What is the bare minimum for running Indy Car Racing
I've heard people had difficulty loading any circuits that
weren't ovals. I would like to being able to load ALL the
circuits with as much detail as possible.
 I have a 33 MHZ 386-SX with 4 MB of RAM.
How much space does it take up on disk.
Also, compared to F1GP how easy is it at the beginners level.
I've heard its a lot harder

A 386 system.  I believe it uses 32-bit programming so it might not run on
your SX.  Not sure, I don't have the box/manual with me.

I have a 386DX40mhz with 4MB RAM and I'm able to load ALL tracks (with 1.04 or
1.05 upgrade) except Elkhart Lake (included on the track pack).  With the
setup up you have, you should be able to quite easily load all the tracks
which ship with IndyCar Racing.  Laguna Seca might give you some troubles, but
the 1.04 patch (found on FTP site) or the 1.05 patch (comes with the expansion
tracks) should fix that.

It depends.  The basic Indycar game with not tracks takes about 2.5MB, and
each track takes up anywhere from 1mb to 1.5mb.  Note: You don't have to have
all the tracks loaded, even if you want to go through a championship season,
all you have to do is have at least ONE track loaded.

I actually found ICR better than F1GP, but that was probably because I was
used to the old Indy 500 controls.  I do know (from friends) that it is pretty
hard to get a handle on the car at first but this is because of how real the
game is.

The good thing about ICR is that you can set your opponents to whatever
streght you feel comfortable with.

Any more questions?  :)
