EBWorld says 10/21/02 for the PC version.

I finally uninstalled N2k2 out of sheer boredom. If NT2k3 has the
advertised career mode and it works as well as the one in DTR, maybe
I'll be picking up a NASCAR sim this year. If only ISI would create
some sort of GP Manager style career mode in the F12k series...

Career mode never did much for me...the established stars tend to stay in
one place. the Nobody's are the ones who switch teams...(which means I would
be switching......a-lot!)
Still if folks want something like that...go for it....
After having to bow out of an online FIA race cuz only 5 cars overloaded
the host, I would MUCH rather see better, more efficient multiplayer coding.

One would think that EA would see that papy's online code is a big part of
their games. Hopefully this release will be good. I am looking forward to
it.
