It's odd how popular voodoodoo is when I see so many posts with a back
screen or lockup problem. Makes you wonder why it doesn't work any
better.

I'm sorry to hear your having a black screen lockup problem when you see
posts.  Perhaps if you stopped salivating over Lynne Russell for just a
few moments you would realize that compared to the other 3D accelerator
cards, the Voodoo and Voodoo2 are very stable and supported.  Sure your
rendition has had a few spatterings here and there, but Voodoo/Voodoo2
has been the only game in town for wide support and blazing speed.

Is this flame-bait?  Have you ever used one?  Just curious.  As with much
of the hardware and software available today, a small percentage of users
will experience problems, usually due to the almost infinite combinations
possible.  Those are the ones that post, seeking assistance.  You're not
likely to get 50,000 happy VooDoo users posting to tell us all how well
their cards work, are you now.  But you know that.  This is flame-bait,
right?

It does work, the major problem is with outdated drivers and those who
overclock the card.
I'v never had any problems with mine.

Fotunately the v2200 runs perfect for me, but I'm a papy sim nut. I just
feel bad for the people having problems with a chip that commands so much of
the market.
Unfortunately I have yet to see a good Lynne Russell pic so I gave that up.

Certainly does flawlessly I might add :) simple matter of drivers and I also
owned a rendition and had to change drivers depending on what game I bought
both cards have pros and cons but the software developers seem to be writing
3dfx code more than rendition by a landslide . So the choice is obvious .

It does work, the major problem is with outdated drivers and those who
overclock the card.
I'v never had any problems with mine.
