n2003 problem

n2003 problem

recently started playing n2003 again. have been experiencing a cracking
noise in the sound. wasnt sure if it was the game, my speakers or sound
card. tried reloading the game, still have the noise. used a friends
disc thinking mine may be bad, loaded his,same problem. noise only
seems to exist when driving. any ideas????   thanks   don

maybe try reinstalling sound card drivers. Also try disabling eax in the
options.I think I experienced the same thing after not playing it for a long
time and I am pretty sure that reinstalling the sound card drivers took care
of it for me.  Nick

Turn DirectX sound accelleraton down a notch or two. That might help.
