N2003 and ACTLABS RS calibration problem

I'm finding my ACTLABS RS steering wheel stops working after being
calibrated in Nascar 2003, (issues such as it failing to recognise the
throttle presses). I was wondering if anyone else had had this problem \ has
any suggestions to overcome it? thanks
