I have talked quit a bit with Brandon at Act Labs and this wheel
really sounds like its going to be great Heres a quick note from
Brandon.

Hey Tony, mid-Nov.... you know the cartridge system in the RS right? I
think this system is going to be killer because it should allow users to

upgrade their force feedback technology versions...one thing that might
be a bummer is that other wheels, when the FF versions increase, will
only support the old effects. Thus, we pump out a low priced add-on
cartridge which should help gamers save bucks rather than empty their
wallets buying a whole new wheel...whatcha think?

It look like ActLabs has updated their website.  And it still looks
like  an awefully nice wheel/pedal set for $99 .. .and the force
feedback is a bonus.
