Nascar tire wear

I would like some advice on adjusting tire wear on opponents. It really ticks
me off when I need new skins at 30 laps and some of the opponents can go to
50.
I'm playing off of a keyboard, so taking the groove is a little difficult.
(though it is probably my driving style, nothing gives me more pleasure than
giving #3 a little tap and sending him off to the wall, you get what you give)

I've got my opponents up to 95%, I don't want to lower it just so that I can
get enough distance ahead to even things out. I kinda like being in the thick
of things.

I'd like to hear peoples top speeds on Talledega and Michigan, not lap speeds.
I've hit 202 on Talledega and 200 on Michigan.

I don't think you can adjust the tire wear rate of opponents.
To make yours last longer adjust air pressure and camber to get
even temps across the tire.  Most importantly keep a good line
through the turns and void skidding as wuch as you can.  Your
driving style helps save tires more than anything else.  As far
as yuor second question about top speeds I think I have hit
about 206 at both, I can't remember exactly.  By best avergae
speed at Taladega is 198.687 and Michigan is 187.601.

Lap speeds make all the difference though!  If you get a good draft,
your lap speeds (and top speeds, come to think of it) will be much
higher.

Go #6 Mark Martin and #16 Ted Musgrave - Jack Roush Racing!!
