Voodoo 2 and AGP Graphics Cards

I have a Diamond 12 meg Voodoo 2 and a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000. I was
wondering if there would be any performance benefit in changing the 3D
2000 for an AGP card??  Anyone out there have any ideas??

Cheers,

Scott

If you trade in your slower 2D you will see some performance increase.
Not huge but definitely noticeable.

You  will only see an increase in performance on games that do not utilise
the Monster II card, the AGP card will be turned of when it is operating.

I thought I was going nuts.  Replaced my Stealth S220 4meg
with hercules Thriller 8 meg. FPS increased about 33 % in rendition
mode.  Also saw an increase in VooDoo2 performance about the same %.

Thanks for the info. I though it might be the case as the graphics are
probably still passing through the 2D card, this would be the biggest bottle
neck.

All I need to do now is replace the 2D card, anyone have any suggestions?
