I'd like to see Temperature and variable weather affecting
different setups differently.
I'd like to see grooves appear and disappear due to changing
weather conditions during a race.
Generally I'd like to see more variables introduced in the
setup and groove part of the sim. It should be more than " find
the perfect line, the best setup, and mash the pedal". Setups  getting
tight and loose during a race is part of it all. Adjusting the car
during pit stops, making it a little better each time would make it
even more fun than it is now. Not to mention create a little more
competitiveness online.

I totally agree.  Usually in a race the groove moves up the track as the
day progresses.  Also, something as simple as the sun going behind the
clouds tightens up the track and it becomes slicker when the sun pops back
out.  Basically, one setup should not be able to run fast every time.

Here's a couple of ideas...

1. Add occasional rain showers.

2. The occasional runaway tire that you sometimes see rolling across
pit    road during pit stops, imagine having to dodge that...
