..namely that framerate drops drastically on my P4-2GHz / Ti4200-128Mb
(at 1280x1024x32-85Hz).
Still not seeing fluent lines in the distance.

Fantastic demo by the way, GP4 has to be a major improvement on
previous titles to beat this.

4XFSAA is a bit much at 1280x1024 for even a 4200ti try quincunx instead,
looks prety much the same but is quicker at that res.

You might also want to use anisotropic filtering which you'll need to
activate using a tweak program such as NVMAX. This will make things look
much better.
