Mikko,

I get this too if I turn up the clock speed on my Voodoo card to anything
over 92MHz. This is adjustable in Control Panel for Diamond cards. At 92 MHz
everything works fine. I suspect the video card is getting too hot when the
clock speed is turned up. Once I receive my Voodoo2 cooling fans from
3dfxCool, I plan on trying to crank it up again.

Try lowering the clock value for the Monster card to the lowest setting. If
it stops freezing then you know the card is overheating.

To use the latest Diamond drivers or Direct X 6 with GPL
you need to take the file Glide2x.dll from the old Diamond drivers version 203 or from
V2 reference drivers (2.53 ?) and place the file in the main GPL directory ( C:\Program Files\GPL\Glide2x.dll )
