I have an intermittent problem with NASCAR Racing that makes the
selection bar in the menus scroll and nothing can stop it. The game will
work fine for a while, but then I get this problem. I reload the game and
it works for a time and then the same thing. Any suggestions ????

When the menu appears, press the "J" key.  This will disable the joystick
for use in selecting the options and let you you the arrow/enter keys to
make your choice.  You will still be able to use the joystick/steering
wheel while driving.

Press "J" while in the menu and it will disable joystick control of the
menu bar.
