I should x-post here as they make dandy plane rudder controls as well :-)
I did the research and clearly knew how these were to function
before purchase. Also, I must say they feel LOVELY! They are very nice.
However, one question I would like to put out here is, has anyone got any
neat-o ideas on how one could 'lock' the in/out portion of their operation?
(ie. safely and without breaking them ;-) ). The rudder portion feels very
nice that way, however while driving cars and applying thottle and brake
and having the pedals slide in and out on their tracks is a bit uncomfortable.
(Admitedly I think I can likely get used to it though, so no real biggie
given that their prime usage in design was for flight-sims anyhow).
Can anyone offer a safe suggestion to more-or-less bracing them somehow to
eliminate this while using them with driving sims? Thanks a bunch for any
help.
