Nascar 2002 Yellow Flags

Is there any way to change the number of laps that are run under caution. It
just seems to me that whenever there is a yellow flag situation the race
could start a couple of laps before it does. At longer tracks like Talladega
its painful to spend so many unnecessary laps under caution.

I've found that the sim exactly mimics real WC racing in that the first yellow lap gathers teh cars
up, pit opens for lead lap cars, next lap pit opens for non-lead lap cars, cars are gathered up
again, and the green falls on the next fill lap with all cars having pitted, this ends up being 3-4
laps just like the real boys.

    Well, I >thought< there was a parameter in the track.ini file covering
yellow
laps, but I just checked and apparently not...

It would be great if it actually stuck to that schedule.  Sometimes it does
but many times it doesn't.  I've found that the more serious the accident,
the longer yellow flag laps there are.  It apparently has to do with the
cars that have to be towed back to the pits.  The AI won't go green until
all of the AI cars have been towed back.  Once they are back, they will
disappear  and be out of the race and then the pace car lights will go out
when teh pace car crosses the start/finish.

What I would like to see fixed is a late caution when the restart is single
file, the non lead lap cars should fall back to the end of the lead lap
field, not hold their positions as they do now.

   I'm not the right person to answer this, since I can't remember ever
actually finishing a full length race...but a rule in Nascar and I'm
assuming Papyrus follows this is:  in the last ten laps the racers line up
in single file with lapped cars at the back of the line.

That's just what I mean, in NR2002 the last ten laps the racers do line up
single file but the lap cars do not go to the back of the line.
