Its a standard RJ11 phone connector (4 conductor wire). I haven't tried it,
but you should be able to just simply take any phone cable lying around the
house and use that. If you want to buy just the end connector any radio
shack should carry them. Just ask for a RJ11 connector and they should know
what you're talking about.

Oh, I was looking at mine which is the USB FF model. Those round connectors
that look like ps2 are usually called mini-din connectors. In you case, a
"4 pin mini-din".

You might be lucky and find those at radio shack, if not other electronics
parts suppliers (digikey, mouser, etc..) should carry them.
They are usually pretty standard, hopefully Microsoft didn't go proprietary
on those.
