Anyone know about this???
I just got the D3D Patch... Edited the CORE.ini ....  I set the Options
mode to Direct3D7 in the game and then do a quit to set it... but when
i go back into the game in DOESNT KEEP.  I Have to set it again ..and
that doesnt work cuz it says "Switch wont take effect until game is
restarted" or someting to that effect... WTF GIVES???   Same shit
happens with the demo.. and only on this one machine...grr.   I have a
Geforce 256 DDR and the latest Nvidia drivers... I DONT GET IT.. UG

Make sure that your app.ini is writable (right click on app.ini, select
properties, make sure write is unchecked).

It is...  Ive even gone in a manualy changed it...and no good...it reverts
itself once the game starts.. HMMMMMM

Silly question, do you have DirectX 7.a installed? TO check run
dxdiag.exe and see what it says, might try re-installing DX7 also.
