Cleaning joystick pots

Cleaning joystick pots

by Peter Ive » Mon, 09 Aug 1999 04:00:00

I noticed, whilst playing gpl with my CH F-16 Combat Stick and the car
at a standstill, that if I moved the stick left then the wheels would
turn left and stay still, but when I moved the joystick to the right and
held it steady that the wheels would turn to the right and then
fluctuate slightly.  I'm hoping that this is being caused by dirting
pots that need cleaning.

I've seen previous threads that have mentioned the best way to clean
them but unfortunately they have long since expired, so is it possible
for someone to let me know the best way to do this.

I thought of trying a search at www.deja.com - is that correct? - but
you guys have always been so helpful in the past, grovel.

Cheers!
