I have a 32mb tnt2. My mirrors don't work anymore with the latest patch.
All I see is a bunch of coloured pixels. No movement at all.
Is there a cure?

I have a 32mb tnt2 and GPL works like a champ.  I did a clean install
of GPL, the 1.2 patch and the D3D patch and everything works great.
Could there be some problems with a previous video patch?  (I seem to
remember someone mentioning that the patches tend to get in each
other's way...)

I'm using the same video card and had the identical mirror problem. I
was using the 2.08 drivers. When I upgraded to version 5.22
everything worked great.

In the core.ini you have to change the,
DirectMirrorRendering = 1
to,
DirectMirrorRendering = 0
I had the same problem and was fiddling around with the core.ini file
and came to the conclusion that this worked.

Exactly same video card. But seems that I can't run the game any more than
640*800. Above that, the game will lock up after a while, and I'll have to
reboot./wl

Read the d3dreadme! :-> There's a section you copy across.

Andrew McP (who didn't read the readme either <g>)

That's because they're not in the core.ini.sample. Open the core.ini,
open the readme file, read it, copy the lines it suggests into the
core.ini, get the 5.22 drivers, restart GPL, no probs.

I've installed the new TNT2 drivers and the mirrors are fine now.
But I have the same problem as you, the game locks up after a while without
warning, it just returns to windows.

Just guessing, but could it be a heat problem? Are you guys doing any
overclocking of processor or video card ? If so, set things back to normal and
see if it helps.
