Hercules Thriller Problem ?

Does anyone else have a problem with Hercules Thriller 8 meg card
locking up their browser.  Tech support says it has to do with memory
manufacturer (nec) conflicting with certain motherboards.  Everything
else is great.  GPL is much better vs Stealth 2 card. Does  any other
manufacturer make a 8 meg rendition card if Hercules can't offer a
solution ?  Thanks

I'm using the Herc Thriller 8mb pci card, win98, dx 6, IE 4.01 with no
problems at all.
To my knowledge, the Herc card is the only one with 8mb ram, I could be
wrong on that one though.

Netscape has random lockups with the Thriller. It's a known problem by
Thriller, from day one. Look in the readme file, for the drivers, from
Hercules.

I use Netscape and after I installed the Thriller last week it locked
up as soon as any Java script started.  I eliminated an animated
curser my Logitech Trackball had installed and that took care of the
problem.  Apperently the drivers have a problem with animated
hourglass pointers.
