Any help appreciated.

Also, reading the recent posts on the game there is a growing sense of
disappointment coloured with a fair degree of anger about many deficiencies
in the game.
This is my first Crammond game since driving REVS on the BBC Micro back in
the mid eighties and frankly, given the hype built up about this game, if I
ever get it to run on my machine I expect I may be rather disillusioned -
DAMN and I've waited so long for it. Oh well - back to GPL - at least it
FEELS like a race car .
Cheers

When it didn't work properly I installed DX7 (although I already had 7.0a)
and the Voodoo 2 drivers from the CD, no change. I thought my platform was
stable as I run GPL on it without any problems.
I have this in cards.txt:
[general]
[Voodoo2 3D Accelerator]
lorestextures=0
slivoodoo2=0
I'm playing in s/w mode at the moment, PO 30% upwards according to frame
rate, detail etc.
Celeron 400/450, Win98.

On Alpha F1 there are suggestions the 8k boards won't work, at all. Mine's
8k, maybe that's the problem, the graphics are generally OK but the shadows
under the wheels come out as a bunch of x's.

Yep, those are the latest drivers.
That can be true (hope not!). Anyone here using a 8mb V2 card
succesfully in GP3?
