Byron,
Well, all I can say is it's better...but still not good enough, and it doesn't
seem consistant. If I spend hours working on a set-up to tame the erratic
steering, I expect that same set-up to work the next time I race, but I always
end up starting from scratch, usually ending up with a completly different
combination to achieve the same times. Does anybody else notice this? GP2 kicks
CPR's ***IMHO, and when F1RS hits the shelves, it's going to replace CPR on
my hard drive. And when is someone going to make a decent sim based on the
great North American roadcourses? I here rumors of a Trans-Am sim, modeling the
early years, coming soon, and if it does, I'll be first in line! I would pay
big $$ to be able to drive Donohue's Camaro around Riverside or The Glen. How
about a sim based on the early Can-Am?Imagine driving Chapparels, McLaren M20s
or1100HP Porsche 917s! Oh well...if wishes were horses....
Keep racin'! And thanks for letting me rant!
