RASCAR: For Non-Rascar people that whined about it

John .
  Come On!
Do you have to shit on everyones nest ?
 - i guess you do by your previous postings you have replyied with etc.

Btw who cares what the *** you do for rascar !
and if you have other things to do ( then do them )

As for Filtering  - we should'nt have to filter anything !

John, why cant you make a web page with its own FORUM'S ?    Would make it
easier for all that are involved in Rascar !  ( or would this be too obvious
to be a better solution than all this posting etc ? )

As for who was here in the news groups first - umm another who gives a
shit !     (i would have thought  all were welcome ! Also each should have
there own opinion , but when asked from not just one but more people here
( nicely about slowing the posts down ) would this too much to ask to be
polite to others here too ? Or is it all about YOU.

  Anyway thats my *** !
and i maybe a *** too , but then you are also a *** .

True, other forums are available.  However, some people(such as myself) can
grab e-mail and newsgroup messages from here with one program, with an
automatic download.  Having to go to a totally different forum doesn't always
work for people.  I thought that marking posts with "RASCAR" was being
considerate for people who wanted to filter those messages.  Have I
misunderstood?
Contrary to John<g> my mission is NOT to***off everyone...  I've tried to
find a solution that's fair and accessible to everyone.  But as in MOST things,
you'll never be able to please everyone.
In other words, this is a no-win situation - someone will be upset at anything
that happens. :(

Actually, no it wouldn't make it easier for everyone involved in RASCAR.  See
one of my previous posts.

I don't think there ARE any perfect solutions to this.

The solutions are there Eldred.  EZ.  If youre not interested in RASCAR then
don't read about it.

How they decide to ignore is up to them :)

Well, how about starting one RASCAR thread pr week and let all
subsequent postings for that week go there, any decent news reader can
sort by thread and people can just "mark thread read" or "ignore thread"

"RASCAR week 9".....just a suggestion

RAScar does have it's own newsgroup.  That's the point.  RASCAR was borne
out of rec.autos.simulators.

It really is that simple.

It was just a suggestion as an alternative to RAS for guys like me.

I'm spending much less time here nowadays. There are something about usenets
rec.* forums and it's general attitude, which I don't like.
I don't know why, but in the webforums people seems less elite, and much
more polite.
Maybe it's the smiley gif's that improves the tone?
This is after all my free time, and I don't want to spend it arguing. :-)

Regarding rascar;
I don't mind most rascar posts Eldred :-)
It's the military exercise spamming that's been increasing lately I'm
opposing to.

Cheers!

Absolutely John.  Those complaining about all these RASCAR posts seem to
be blissfully unaware of this.  Ok, it's mildly inconvenient for some at
worst, but I remember last year's RASCAR posts were few and far between
and, although they are a little overdone, they will soon reduce back to
last year's levels no doubt.  What's all the fuss about?

Seems like saying that "I went to a motor club and they kept talking about the
event they were organising and a number of the club members were going to race
in"
