I just wondered what linearity settings people were using?
Personally, I use a formula 1/nascar pro wheel/pedal setup and have the
steering set much more towards the linear side of the scale as I prefer the
increased sensitivity to make minor corrections when the back end steps
out.
BTW, I discovered the art of braking without locking up the wheels
earlier... I put in about 9 CONSECUTIVE laps without an accident! The
fastest of these was only a 1:09.97, but if I'm starting to crash less now,
good times will surely come soon :-)
I would like to apologise to Chris Boll too, when I first saw the replay of
his (first) fast lap I couldn't believe it was possible to do a whole lap
without locking the wheels and assumed he was using braking help. I now
know better, it is possible to do, just very hard :-)
