Gaming system specs, advice needed

I'm in the lucky position to be able to get a PC of choice from work, since
it will be used at home I'm going for a *** system mainly.
This is what I'm proposing to the purchasing dept:

PIII 733, 256k on-die L2 cashe
Intel 820 chipset motherboard with 4XAGP and 128 Mb PC700 RDRAM(350MHz)
20.4Gb Ultra ATA EIDE hard drive (7200 rpm)
Soundblaster Live soundcard
Altec Lansing THX Certified ADA885 Dolby Digital Speakers with 8" Subwoofer
32 MB NVIDIA geFORCE Plus 4x AGP Video card
19"(18" viewable, .24 - .25AG) Sony Trinitron Monitor
8x max. variable CD-DVD-ROM with HW MPEG Decoding and TV out (DVD speed of
2.5x Min;
CD speed of 40x max/17x Min)

Is there any aspect of this config that I should consider
changing/upgrading for maximum performance??

regards

Make sure the GeForce Plus has DDR ram. Otherwise you get fillrate
limitations with games like quake3 (the geforce is waiting on the memory so
isn't fully utilized). Of course this only matters with fillrate intensive
games (z buffer, 32 bit graphics etc.) If you are just playing auto
games/sims the regular GeForce will be fine.

Hi Anders,

Confused you posted this exact message on other NG's 4 weeks ago why are you
still requiring reassurance when it is you company that is buying it
or is it just bragging for the sake of it???

Hmmm? Your workplace is allowing you to buy a mega pc based around a
*** system, who do you work for? Is this a troll maybe......?

It appears that Anders is from Sweden. In order for more people to afford a
computer the government has decided that you can rent a new computer from
you employer(technically, they tend to work with some retailer). The good
part is that the cost is deducted from your salary *before* tax. So with
taxes ranging from 30-50% it is a bargain. The after usually  3 years you
either return the comp. or buy it at its market price.

All of the above is true, but not in my particular case. I "need" a PC at
home cause of work, conequently they will buy me one.

Nuff said about this very late thread.
