SARACEN  Scalable Racing Engine

Whether you are building a prototype or developing a full game you won't
find a more powerful, flexible and reliable racing engine than SARACEN. And
it's not just an engine - SARACEN is a complete system for making driving
games, providing you with a powerful editor for building your race worlds,
importing trackside models, vehicles and textures from 3Dstudio, and
compiling the raceworld down to run on either Playstation or PC at the press
of a button.

OVERVIEW
SARACEN is the fastest ever rendering system designed specifically for the
racing game genre. It runs on both SONY PlayStation and 3D accelerated PC's.

The power of SARACEN is unbelievable. It will render a typical race
environment at up to 60 fps. It can plot 20,000 perceived polygons per
frame. It massively reduces scenery pop-on. It also comes with tools for
building and editing tracks, so it's perfect for creating prototypes quickly
and easily. SARACEN takes care of vehicle physics, collisions and even
coloured dynamic lighting.
