Nascar rookie needs advice- online racing, game set-up, etc.

Hi to all,
I am interested in racing against others but am unsure how to go about
it. I first of all didn't realize how many versions of the game there
were out there. I have the first version that only allows 1 qualifying
lap. Is this normal in all versions? As far as qualifying goes, this
really sucks because of low tire temps. Can I use this version to race
on-line? I have 28.8 modem but no nothing about bbs or the cost.
Also, as far as car set-ups go during the race, I seem to do just fine
with the ace set-up and minor tweaking.
Any and all ideas and suggestions are most appreciated.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Well, you shouldnt mess with Nascar because Nascar II is coming out.

But, if you do, your gonna need the track pack CD.

If you have that already, the goto http://www.sierra.com/papyrus

and get the latest version of Hawaii... Have Fun!!!

Your ready to role.  Go to Sierra Papyrus and get your MULTI.EXE from
Hawaii.  Load it, unzip it, and type eterm.  You won't be able to race
at all the tracks unless you have track pack, but I wouldn't buy the
track pack because NASCAR II and NRL will be out soon.  Enjoy and hope
to see you there.

PS  race on the weekends.  Long distance rates are cheaper and there
are more races.

Weekend Racer.  Gotta Lovitt
work hard and spend your money
racing.
