A few day's ago, Don Scurlock asked about the pit board being
a lap behind.

And I posted new numbers for Monza's track.ini
to move the guy with the pit board, so that he would report
the current lap time.

Well I've been playing about with some of the other track's,
and come up with the following.

Kyalami
pit_board = 9.0 250.0 -100.0 100.0

Mexico
pit_board = 6.4 221.6 -100.0 100.0

Monza
pit_board = 21.0 275.0 -100.0 100.0

Silverstone
pit_board = 7.0 259.0 -100.0 100.0

I previously stated, that I thought that the first and second
numbers, were longitude and latitude.
This is complete rubbish. Sorry.

I now think that the first number is how far he stand's from
the track centre line.
And the second number is how far past the start/finish line he stand's.
If this also turns out to be complete rubbish, Sorry again.

Anyway, I'll have a go at the other track's over the next week or so,
but on some of the track's its a bit difficult to decide where to put him.

All the track's I've done sofar, have a decent straight after the the
start/finish line, most of the other track's don't.
If anyone has any suggestions for any of the other track's
let me know.

why not just put them a little further around? just as long as they're not
on your braking point they shouldn't annoy you at all, there is no reason
for the board to be shown at the line, it wasn't always in 1967, not in all
the teams anyway.

It was almost always located within close proximity of the pits, chaps.
That was, after all, the point at which the times were taken via battery of
stop-watches.  Times were relayed to the  board man via voice, not 'phone or
radio!

I tried
pit_board = 10.0 14100.0 -100.0 100.0
for Spa, which puts the little guy across the track from the pits (over the
guard rail) and well past the S/F line. But the laps are still being updated
before I cross!    -Keith

Yes I've noticed that anything bellow about 200 and you
still get the previous lap,
