I have experienced similar problems after running GPL online of not
being able to telnet into my ISP. Though this is not a common occurence
on my machine. When you try VROC, are you shutting down other Internet
programs (except Netscape of course)? Just a hunch, but maybe other
programs are sucking TCP/IP cycles from GPL.
Also have you properly setup your DUN, TCP/IP settings for your ISP? Is
your TCP/IP settings in your Network setup properly? Sometimes things
like having WINS resolution enabled when it isn't needed could cause
problems like this.
There sounds like there maybe somethings not properly configured when it
comes down to network, DUN, TCP/IP.
One other thing, are you using the core.ini file suggested for use with
VROC?
