GPL video config

I am suffering a bout of self-inflicted video problems with GPL (and
a GeForce 3 card). Having done a bit of tweaking of the video card
settings, I am now stuck with menu screens in GPL that start out OK
but which get more and more blurry as I look at them. Putting the
settings back to what I remember as being their original values
doesn't help.

Short of removing the video drivers and running the denonator remover
program and then re-installing the drivers again, does anyone have a
checklist of video settings that work with GPL that they'd be willing
to share.

The in-car video is fine, but those blurred menus are driving me
nuts!

TIA,

AA causes the menu screen corruption.

Yes! That solved it. Thanks a lot!

Darryl,

And if you want to run AA (which makes a big difference, IMHO), get WiHerr's
OpenGL patch from forum.racesimcentral.com (do a search for WiHerr) and
something around the 30.82 drivers from guru3d.com .  You should see
smoother framerates in general with OpenGL than D3D, with no menu corruption
if you run with AA.

The latest drivers from nVidia seem to work fine with WiHerr's OGL
patch... well, atleast with my GF2MX400 :)

Thanks for the tip, Rick. The mention of OpenGL sounds familiar, but
I've never bother giving it a try as the D3D drivers seemed to be
working fine (until I messed with the settings. I think there's a
lesson there.... <g>) I'll have to find a run of two or three
consecutive days when I don't have a league race and try installing
the OpenGL drivers and the newer nVidia drivers to match.

Thanks again,
