Nascar2 to ICR2 track conversions--help needed

by Nickl.. » Thu, 27 May 1999 04:00:00

I'm a relative newbie to ICR2 and Nascar2, so please bear with me.
I've downloaded Dave Noonan's NR2toICR2 free converter and managed to
convert both Pocono and Atlanta for use in ICR2, but have had no
success in converting NIGHT C***te and NIGHT Bristol, mainly due to
the fact that I cannot find patches to convert those Nascar 2 tracks
to night versions--am I missing something?

Also, is the full version of the converter available, and will it work
on all Nascar2 tracks (i.e., the original N2 tracks as well as edited
Las Vegas, Indy, Daytona, Ontario, etc, or just those that shipped
with N2 originally)?

Getting an itchy trigger finger what with Indy this Sunday, so any
help, posted here or via email, would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

YES, you're missing a lot.  Look in your tracks folder, there should be tracks
named NBRISTOL and NCHRLTTE.  This is NIGHT Bristol and NIGHT C***te.
There's your night tracks for ya.

It converts almost every track you can find for NASCAR2 and NASCAR99.  Only a
few exceptions exist, such as some heavily edited tracks.

The converter was the best $15 I ever spent. Go buy it!
