Is there any stores in the US that carries Microprose's Grand Prix World?
It looks great, but I can't find it.  Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of anyone in the US that is carrying the game.  I got my copy
through www.ukgames.com.  And yes it does require a 3d card that does d3d.
