>Anyone care to review Moto Racer 2?
I don't know about a review, but I'll answer your questions...
Well...umm...no. I had to think about that. But let me tell you that the
bike model is done very well when you choose "Simulation" mode. You
actually have bad things happen when you hit the wall/hill (not just bounce
off and go "oof!"), and the lack of grip a light motorcycle on a dirt road
gives you is there as well. The music downright sucks. Turn it off. The
graphics are great, and have all sorts of special effects (that you can also
turn off to get playable FPS on a slower machine). Sound is decent, but
when compared to MR1, it sounds like they dressed down the GP bike sound
(the best in that game) and dressed up the motocross sound (which was
lousy).
Yes, and I love it. It works differently than the "grid-based" editors,
where you put a Straightaway block, then a Turn block, and a Jump block,
etc. This one starts with a circle, and lets you click-and-drag whatever
turns and shapes you want! Awesome!
Yes, but I haven't tried it out (don't have a network).
Hope this helps!
