Sounds like you might have a speed problem with your cable service. I got it
with my cable connection in under 5 minutes.

I averaged about 130/kbps

Check this site out for cable tweaking and info...

Ok,... here goes...

the clip opens with papy logo and nascar 4 logo,... misc race sounds in back
ground. (first 20 sec., Clip is 2 min)

then it goes into race scenes.

first scene shows Mark Martin closing in from the rear bumper cam... Looks
like Bobby Labonte in the background. Track is mid size and lit. (Richmond?)

more shots of these cars running together including a nice driveby of
Martin's car (this shot is stunning... there is a small pop on the front
bumper as it comes closer,... either a lighting jump, or a level of detail
pop.... either way, this looks awesome)

next shot is a fixed camera showing the cars coming at you and turning into
one...once again,... this looks *Very* good

next is a rear bumper cam again as Mike Skinner closes in. The car with the
camera loses it and takes a wild ride through the infield. (Nothing airborn,
but quite realistic looking) You can see the weight shift as it spins.

another short bumper clip, followed by a shot of cars going 3 wide... John
Andretti goes on the apron and moves up a bit, as his car bounces. Mark
martin on the outside goes into a slow slide, and Bobby Labonte cuts down to
avoid hitting him. Cut to blimp cam of this as well.

Then there is a very quick clip of skinners car spinning from the roof cam
of Robert Pressley's car. Then there are more race shots, (A lot of bumper
cams and blimp cams) Of note here is a roof cam shot from Mike Skinner's
car... you can see a nice reflection line move across the hood as the car
follows mayfield into the corner.

cut to some shots of Tony Stewart. These shots really show off the shadows
moving under the car (As the car circles the track, the shadow swings around
to maintain the same direction... very nice looking)

This is followed by a sequence of cars rotating on a black screen (Stewart,
Park, Rusty Wallace, B. Labonte.

Finally, back to more racing shots at Dover,... these show off the dynamic
shadows more, as well as the hood reflection. There are a few shots of Tony
and Bobby that look darn near video quality.

Finally, it ends with a bumper cam shot looking back at John Andretti as he
goes into a corner and loses it.

I skipped over a lot, but I hope this helps...

Overall impressions... WOW! I work on graphics for a living, so I'd like to
think I have a fairly critical eye towards this stuff. The cars reflections
are done in a realistic manner (You may not even notice them at first) The
dynamic shadows also help add to the strong sunlight effect. Frame rate
looked very smooth, but details such as smoke and dust are not present.
Overall, this looks like a major leap forward,... much larger than the leap
from 2 to 3. Assuming they are using a modified GPL engine, I can only wait
and drool.

The movie is about 2 minutes in length. It shows three cars racing at
Richmond, with one car spinning coming off of turn 4 and sliding through the
infield (from a bumber-cam perspective). It also shows a car looping it
going into turn 1.

Then the movie changes to Dover and again you see 2 or 3 cars going at it
and two cars looping it going into/coming out of the turns.

In the middle of the movie, they show shots of just the cars.

It's pretty cool and I would highly recommend the download.

It took 4 minutes and 21 seconds on my DSL...

There is no smoke, no dirt, no flipping or any of that other stuff for
those of you wondering.
