following already has been discussed... sorry for bringing it up again
if is has been.
First I would like to say that I'm enjoying Rally Championship
immensely! But, like many others, I've had some major problems with
the steering sensitivity. I found out now, that the steering
sensitivity is directly related with how far the wheels actually turn
(I don't know if others are/were already aware of this). To test this
is simple: just select a time trial rally and once you get the setup
screen, put the sensitivity slider full to the left. The wheels won't
turn very much, it's just enough to go around corners. But when you
are put in the wrong way (i.e. after hitting something etc.), you just
won't be able to very easily get the car in the right direction again.
The outside views show this too, the wheels don't turn very far. Now
do the same but put the sensitivity-slider in the setup screen full to
the right. Now the wheels will turn fully! Just test a bit and check
the outside views, major difference!!..... just try to make a 360 on
the spot! What needs be fixed is the relation between the
joystick/wheel deflection and how far the wheels turn. FYI, I'm using
a Thrustmaster Force GT and, after calibrating it with full (!)
deflection (using the Thrustmaster Propanel for calibration), I'm able
to use full sensitivity now. But with a joystick, the deflection of
the joystick is just way to little to be able to use full
sensitivity.... and thus less steering.
