If you guys (and girls) want some hot road racing action buy the latest
issue of PC Games w/ the demo disk. Papyrus has two fantasy tracks on it
Bull Run and Red Rock Speedways. Both are road courses through
mountains. Try Red Rock, 215 down the hill baby!!!!

Why should we spend money just to get a CD with two tracks, when the

Granted, there might be other interesting things on the CD, but if someone
is going to buy the magazine just to get the tracks, they've probably
wasted their money.

Yes, but Talladega is "boring" after running Red Rock!

Yes, they are completely legal; they've been released on some magazine
demo CD's, as well as many of the sites on the net.  Try

There are no such tracks available on www.nascarnet.com, unless they
are hidden somewhere (i.e., there are no menu selections for file
downloads or anything).

Where the hell are these tracks? I've been to a dozen nascar2 sites
this morning and there's not a word about these new tracks anywhere.
What the hell's going on with these sites, are they all dead, just old
information? Isn't anyone playing Nascar2 anymore, or updating n2
sites? I thought new tracks would be big news, but I can't find any
trace of them on the web.

>>>So where might these tracks be found on the Net anyway?

Thanks to those who responded, I found the tracks.

But I can't get them to work. They've uncompressed fine, the track
dirs are full of files, and the show up in the tracks menu within N2.
But there is no graphic for the track (it's just black)  and when I
select a new track and try to run it N2 gives me an error message
("Unable to load track data" I think it was).

I've installed N2 from the CD I bought last November when it came out.
Do I need an N2 patch for the new tracks to worl?

You might need to edit your calendar file to include these tracks.
