...admit it. how many laps do you average on GPL every day? (if you
don't race but one day a week, but you do 700 laps on that day you
average 100 laps per day).

i would like to confess that i do 20 laps or so every day.

Okay, okay, I'll admit it :-)

I can't tell you in laps. I mean... Glen or Ring laps? Anyway...

During weekdays I usually do one (or two) Pro short races and in a
weekend I race about one world championship, also Pro short.

But when those 20 laps are done when you should be .... say sleeping :)
could be grounds for ***ion.

I too am ***ed.  Once I get playing, it's tough to stop.
Raced/qualified
38 laps yesterday at Mosport.  I should have only raced 19, but we needed

a rematch :)   1 thru 5 qualifiers were under 1:25 :)

Needless to say, I'll be tired at work for a long time to come.

Well, today I fired up GPL for the first time at around 1pm. I've had
several sessions on-and-off since and by the time of writing this (just
after 6pm), I've completed 26 laps at Monza, with a best time of
1m28.59... But I've got no homework to do tonight so I'm sensing a major
GPL session!

Cheers!

hmmm, does 3-4 hours per day since i got GPL 3 weeks ago sound bad? :)
how many laps does that mean? what about laps at the 'ring? they're
worth like 8 laps at the Glen :)

I'm still putting off buying the game to be able to finish my bachelor's
thesis, but it hasn't saved me for playing the demo for hours every day.
I've now decided not to drive a single lap until the damn thing is written
:).

And when those laps are done...say at Nurburgring;-)

Ok, even 3 hours a day isn't that much.  Wish I could spend more than
three  hours in a week driving GPL and get some decent lap times.
1:33 in Monza with Ferrari isn't exactly fast.  But I did have good
fight for position 20 at Spa until I lost it in Eau Rouge;-)

BTW: I quess everyone has noticed how those "ramps" are always in the
runoff area of fastest corner?  I've got my share of GPL flight model
at Eau Rouge, 'ring and Kyalami.  Stunt Car Legends, anyone;-)

Time is *very* short in my packed little life, there just are not
enough hours in the day? But, having said that, I probably *average*
around 40 laps per day (major sessions on most weekends!) which
equates to around 280 laps per week, or, at around 1m35/lap = 380
minutes per week, or 6.3 hours per week, or 327.6 hours per year, or
13.65 days per year!!!!!

Sheeesh, it adds up to a *LOT* of time......

I'm proud to hear of someone admitting to Monza times that aren't in the
1:28 range.  I worked my ass off to get a sub 1:32 lap, was damned proud of
it, and still am!  :-)

If you're getting a 1:33 at Monza you should do more than the 20th at Spa,
don't you agree ??

I found out that the last of the 19 drivers are THAT slow...so I changed
a few of the drivers in the "drivers.ini" to adjust the AI to my strenght ;-)

Also, man mailt sich...
