C:PR and Monster3D

I downloaded and installed CART PR on 2 different PCs yesterday and it
played great on both of them.  One is a P120 and the other a P166, both
have Monster 3D cards.  Today, neither PC would display any accelerated 3D
graphics.  For example, in CART PR after I click the 'Race' button the
monitor light turns amber (as if it's not getting a signal) and the screen
goes blank.  All my other 3D games and demos are affected as well.

Initially, I got graphics on both PCs working again by removing the
Monster3D from device manager and letting Windows auto-detect it.  Then, I
made the mistake of playing CART again (thinking I could fix the problem if
it recurred) and now (after turning it off and rebooting) I can't get the
Monster 3D to work again in the P120 -with any game.  I've tried removing
the Monster3D in Device Manager, reinstalling the drivers, and reinstalling
Directx5. I guess the next step is removing the card, and reinstalling
again...

Is anyone else having a similar problem with CART PR / Monster 3D combo?  I
would suspect that it's a personal problem, except that it happened to both
of my PCs.

Thanks -
Marla

Nope I didn't have that problem. I just thought the game sucked. Try
getting the drivers from www.3dfx.com. I may try CPR again tonight.
