Abit bx6 rev 2 and bios update

by Stev » Sun, 29 Dec 2002 01:48:39

I know this is the wrong forum for this question but i'm
only asking because when i was reading earlier posts
some people here had the same motherboard as me and
i could use some help. I have a celeron 566 that will run at
850 mhz with a voltage increase but when i flash the bios i
can't remember how to get the voltage to increase, i know
there's some trick to it but cannot remember. I hope i can
justify this post by saying if someone could help me it would
make my racing on GPL alot better.
Thanks Everyone!
Steve.

in the cpu soft menu settings, you pick cpu of "user defined" then you set
things, and at the bottom there is voltage settings...  BTW I got a p31000
slot1 running in mine, got it for near 150, I mention this, as it might be
your best gain, compared to overclocking, as the processor is much better
than the old Celery's    No I have not tried to overclock the 1ghs chip
yet...  but it was a great increase from the 600 I had before.
