You will need to reinstall the correct ProPanel........after the Win95 fresh
installation. I suggest going to TM's website to get the latest version.
Also, once the ProPanel is installed.....it serves no further (calibration)
purpose. You only need it to install the "TM NASCAR PRO" selection in the
Win95/Control Panel/Game Controllers device selection. DO NOT USE PROPANEL TO
CALIBRATE YOUR TM NASCAR PRO WHEEL.
Last...make sure that you have the "Combined/Separate" switch....located on the
right side of the peddles...toward the front.....set on either Combined or
Separate (some racing sims will not allow separate peddles for brakes and
gas......on separate axis.....N3 and GPL do allow this. Check your "game/sim"
manual/readme.txt to see which is allowed). The middle position for this switch
is "OFF" and nothing will calibrate in that setting. Then, when selecting the
TM NASCAR Pro controller device from the "list"......make sure you choose the
one that matches how you've got the "switch" set.
Once you've followed the above steps.....Win95 calibration of your TM NASCAR Pro
wheel is pretty simple. Its a good idea to recalibrate in Win95/Control
Panel/Game Controllers after you install a new game/sim. Also, you need to
recalibrate anytime you've removed the TM NASCAR Pro wheel from your computer
(for cleaning and maint....etc.)......this is true for any controller and is not
unique to the TM NASCAR Pro wheel/peddles. If you are still having problems
with calibration or operation of your wheel/peddles.....then you'll need to
consider that the game port on your sound card may be the problem. Make sure
you have the latest drivers installed for your sound card! Also, in
Win95....you can not have any other active game port installed in your
computer......Win95 can only recognize one of them at a time. If for some
reason you have two cards with game ports......you must disable one of
them.....this is particularly true if you are using a "game port" card....where
you then must disable the game port on your sound card.
Make sure you regularly clean your wheel/peddles.....and check all the
nuts/bolts for tightness. It's also a good idea to clean the pots with an
industrial electrical contact cleaner...regularly (once a month would not be too
often). If you start running in online leagues.....you'll want to service your
wheel even more often (I do mine weekly when actively participating in online
leagues). And, if you have problems with the throttle peddle springs breaking
(some do...some don't).....get yourself a set of ProPedals springs for your TM
NASCAR Pro wheel/peddles....they will never break! (visit ProPedals at:
http://members.xoom.com/ProPedals/ ) And finally, if you haven't done so
already, mounting your peddles onto a solid wooden base about 3-4 inches up will
dramatically improve the feel and accuracy of using your racing peddles. Some
drivers prefer the base to be slightly slanted rear to front....mine is about 4
inches high at the rear....3 inches in the front....just an example. Use a
couple strips of industrial grade velcro (available at any home building supply
store) to attach the peddle base to the wooden base/platform.
Ok.....now you should be ready for some serious sim racing.

Sounds like you need to download the newest ProPanel from
thrustmaster.com.
