I'm sure it would *run*, per se, but it'd be VERY slow, probably to
the point of pulling your hair out and saying something like "this
game sucks!"  when in reality, your processor just can't handle the
load...  turn off ALL graphics and try it.

ps: have you tried the demo?

I have a 25 MHz computer with 8MB RAM.  Nascar runs great with
most of the graphics extras turned off, and less than 20 cars
starting in each race.  Once you turn on the road texture, or
heavy combinations of the other graphics options, the game
starts to slow down.  As long as you aren't expecting virtual
reality or something, you don't have to spend $5,000 on a Pentium
computer just to play games.
