I foolishly ignored most of the F12001 posts in the past, but now that
I'm trying to play the thing, I can't seem to get by the poor pedal
control in the game.  Mine seems almost digital-like, with lockup
occuring at 1/2 brake throw (LWFF, patched).  Did you guys ever come
up with a fix for this problem, or do I simply have a setting wrong?

Turn on antilock braking. I don't think it is so radical in light
of all the electronics they use now...

hi!
i have exactly the same problem with my act-labs wheel.
gas works fine,but but brake is either on or off.
after reading this i tried to use the braking aid(even though i really
hate to turn this shit on),but it didnt help anyway.
so,if anyone has antoher idea,please post it!

Search through the messages on this NG, for a post by Ian Bell about a
month or two ago.  He had modifications to the *.plr file for various
controllers.  I've used his LWFF mod and it helps a great deal.  (Not sure
about it's effect on pedals though, as I use my LWFF with TSW pedals.)

If you can't find this post, search for one of mine (BRH).  I posted the
LWFF settings awhile back too.

I think I have those.  There are no instructions, do you simply paste
them into the .plr file, overwriting the bottom part that includes the
FF lines?  Is this it?
